Silica Brick
Description:
SiO2 and CaO can form CaO·SiO2, it is easily attacked by alkaline substances such as NaOH. It has been found that the CaO·SiO2 phase is the main cause of corrosion of silica bricks in glass furnace. The reaction of the CaO·SiO2 phase with NaOH forms a glass phase in the silica brick and gradually dissolves the SiO2 particles. High-quality silica bricks will increase the SiO2 content and reduce the CaO content to improve the corrosion resistance while ensuring high temperature strength. The product is more effective in modern glass furnace with larger daily output.
In addition, we can also provide fused silica brick for glass furnace hot repair. It is a new type silica brick, made from fused quartz as raw material. It has high strength, low expansion rate, and excellent thermal shock resistance during heating.
Advantage:
High purity, good high temperature strength, strong erosion resistance
Application:
Superstructure and crown in glasss furnace/kiln, fused silica brick for hot repair
